Become a Member
The Moonaboola Limited is a member’s not-for-profit company (limited by guarantee).
Our membership is open to all persons and all organisations in Australia. Both Indigenous (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander) and non-Indigenous people and organisations are encouraged to apply.
The majority of the Board of Directors are persons who identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people as per the constitution.
There are three categories of membership which have been determined by the Board of Directors, they are:
- Individual Membership (persons over the age of 18 years – full voting rights);
- Organisational Membership;
- Youth Membership (persons under the age of 18 years – limited voting rights).
The success of the company and its capacity to grow and develop over the coming years will be guided by a range of factors, including the diversity, ability and leadership of the Board of directors together with our members.
Since the beginning, there has been an amazing ground swell of interest, encouragement and positive goodwill about becoming a member of Moonaboola and what we can achieve together.
Moonaboola is committed to increasing the profile of the company and creating positive change as it achieves its vision for the Fraser Coast, Queensland and Australia.
